Join us at The Elgar Centre, Upton, Northampton for an evening of gently guided creativity, while raising much needed funds for the fabulous Lewis Foundation. We provide all the materials, equipment and guidance you'll need to take home a fabulous piece of artwork 2025 Thu 23rd Oct 7pm - Highland Cow SOLD OUT Wed 3rd Dec 7pm - Frosty Morning 2026 Fri 29th May 7pm - TBC Fri 31st July 7pm - TBC In 2016 Lorraine and Lee Lewis were so moved when Lee’s mum was hospitalised with cancer that it led them to set up a charity. Recognising the fear, upset and loneliness faced by individuals undergoing cancer treatment and their loved ones, the duo were determined that their charity would make a real difference. They set about sourcing donations, packaging and delivering gifts, whilst giving support to patients on oncology wards. Today, the team has almost 50 volunteers and hundreds of regular supporters delivering over 2,500 gifts to fourteen hospitals in the Midlands every month. More here www.thelewisfoundation.co.uk These art workshops are an ideal way for beginners or improvers to enjoy an evening of creativity aswell as learning a range of techniques in a warm welcoming environment You'll be guided through by our very friendly, and knowledgeable art tutor, Liddy. You are free to take as much guidance as you like, but we certainly won't restrict your creative flair Please arrive around 10 minutes before the event begins This session doesn't include coffee and cake, it's just a suggestion and will be available to buy on the evening. Our events are recommended for anyone over the age of 14 . However, please advise in the booking notes us if you are booking for anyone under the age of 18 as each venue has different licensing rules. About the Tutor: Liddy is the creative force and main tutor with Something Less Boring. She is a qualified Illustrator and also a qualified teacher. Liddy taught art for over 10 years at secondary school level before leaving to found Something Less Boring in 2017 with the aim of bringing art and sport to all ages regardless of ability in a fun, creative and inclusive way. Since April 2020 we estimate that Liddy has taught close to 500 online art sessions
